“Your whole body is tense … your heart is pounding … “
1 quality makes men irresistible to women. Study after study confirms it.
See if you can pick it out in these real-life scenarios.
True Life Stories
–Steve “She falls asleep on the sofa early every night. But she gets mad when I try to go out with my friends. I stay in almost every night, bored out of my mind.”
Have you brought it up to her? Let her know you’re going to go out and have some fun?
“… No. It just doesn’t seem worth getting the silent treatment for the next two weeks.”
–John I’m working way more hours than her and yet she keeps wanting me to help her with more domestic stuff. It’s really pissing me off!”
“Have you told her?”
“… Well … no. I don’t know why; it’s just easier not to make waves.”
–Will “She spent $112 on cupcakes for our kid’s birthday! $112 for f*cking cupcakes! She spends money faster than I can make it. But she’s never happy.”
Did you talk to her about it? Set a budget?
“No, I keep telling her to stop spending so much, but she never listens.”
What do these 3 guys share in common?
They’re afraid to confront their wife’s bad behavior.
They don’t use those words, but that’s the reality. And it affects their own self-confidence as well as their wife’s attraction.
Women are Wildly Attracted to Men with Courage
1 Quality Makes Men Irresistible to Women
Studies are quite clear that when women pick sexual partners, they prefer bold men who have the courage to take risks.
And here’s the interesting part. The more beautiful and feminine the woman, the more she chooses masculine men.
If you lack the confidence to confront your wife when she’s acting badly, you are missing a key opportunity to build attraction in your marriage.
Identify Your Fear
The key to overcoming challenges and fears is to first identify them.
You have to look closely at your own motivations and identify your fears. Stop using language that obscures the fact that you’re afraid.
Being afraid makes you human. Avoiding your fear makes you weak.
Identifying your fear is the first step to courage.
Identify the Fear
“… No. I’m afraid to make her angry It just doesn’t seem worth getting the silent treatment for the next two weeks.”
“…. Well … no. I don’t know why; I’m afraid it’s just easier not to make waves.”
“No, I keep telling her to stop spending so much, but I’m afraid to set boundaries with her she never listens.”
Courage – the ability to do something you know is right or good, even though it feels dangerous, frightening, or difficult.
Face Your Fear
I’ve been studying the concept of how people learn new behaviors and what makes some people more successful than others at changing.
And it turns out that the people who are the best at learning new things are the people who aren’t afraid to take risks and aren’t afraid to fail.
They’ve learned to lean into their fear.
When we are afraid of something, we have one of three responses … Adrenaline is responsible for getting us moving …
Fear of Failure
Personally, my most recent fear was moving up a level in ballroom dance. The whole room was filled with people who had been dancing for years vs. my few months of experience.
I was afraid of looking foolish. I was afraid I wouldn’t get the steps. I was afraid I would ruin the momentum of the rest of the group.
Silly fears, I know, but nevertheless, real to me. My heart was pounding, my body was tense. I did it anyway.
And it was awesome!
I felt exhilarated afterward. That’s adrenaline and dopamine at work. It’s a kind of high.
Earn the Reward
1 Quality Makes Men Irresistible to Women – Courage
As Dr. Huberman says, “Your whole body will be tense … your heart will be pounding. That’s okay. That’s adrenaline and dopamine at work and it helps you move forward and learn.”
What about you?
When’s the last time you did something you’re afraid of? When’s the last time you challenged yourself to do something you didn’t think you could do?
When’s the last time you set boundaries with your wife and engaged in conflict with her?
Go find that thing that makes your body tense and your heart pound in your chest.
Go face the lions. Or your wife.
Whichever comes first.
